I hope most of you made it to Blipfest 2012 (NYC), because it was the last one, for now. Blip Festival will be taking a hiatus after the Tokyo event, this year. Members of the mailing list have recently received this message.
This is of course a major bummer to scenesters around the planet, but NoiChan and several others will be stepping up and trying to fill the massive shoes left behind by Bit Shifter, Nullsleep, and the entire 8BP crew.
It is with a great sense of admiration that we salute you, and hope to someday attend your bitchin festivals, once again.

I’m glad its just a hiatus. I still must fulfill my dream of going there
this is like batman
the chip scene begins 2003-2007
the chip scene falls 2010-2012
the chip scene rises ????-????
and PLEASE NOTE: there was no Blip in 2010, this does NOT mean the END of BlipFestival. It is a pause– I’m sure that after all of their hard work running this entire event on love that the love guns need recharging.
NEVER FORGET
Well the lack of blip 2010 wasn’t a pause; blip 2011 was only a little more than a year after blip 2009, except 2009 was in December so 2010 became 2011.
I’ve talked to people who run it, and they refer to it as a pause /// #vernacular
