ChipConBRKfestToastyCoNoiChan, and NonElec are coming together on this awesome contest! We want you to design the next LSDJ sticker to be distributed at the NonElectronics shop.  These stickers will make their way around the globe to hundreds. if not thousands. of LSDJ users!  Imagine seeing your design on a cartridge at the next show you attend!  As if that wasn’t enough, Nonfinite is giving away $100 in store credit to the grand prize winner, with $50 awards for 2nd and $25 for 3rd place.  Any subsequent designs used after that will receive honorable mention with full credit on nonelectronics.com.

Contest Closed. You may view the entries here.

The rules:

By entering the contest you are agreeing to let NonElectonics use your design.  Entries must be 40mmx22mm.  Template logos are already correctly sized for ease of use.  Final submissions need to be in one of the following formats: TIF, PSD, EPS, AI, SVG, PDF, JPG (300 – 600 dpi)  AI or other vector formats preferred.  Submissions are due by Friday, September 7th @ 11:59PM Central Standard Time (We’ll be flexible if you’re a few minutes late though!)

To submit your entries, please use the upload form below.

Protips:

Use this template to help with your design. If you don’t have Adobe Illustrator, you can open and edit .AI files with Inkscape, a free vector program similar to Adobe Illustrator.  .AIs can also be opened in Photoshop if you plan to submit your design in a raster format!

  1. Hey everyone who awesomely participated in this contest, I’m looking to make new LSDJ sticker sheets with some of the entries, so if you have your original document (i.e. an image without any of the red cutlines, or an image that I can edit the cutlines out of, .psd, .ai, etc) I would love love love to have them. It’s looking like a pretty great stickersheet, and I would love to get them printed and in the shop over at NonElectronics.com as soon as possible. PM me for more info, or head over to NonElectronics.com and contact me there. Thanks, we love the designs!

  2. We need some info. Will the designers of LSDJ2.png and Galaxy.png please come foreward?

  3. BUMP

  5. I post too late but here are stil the 22 :55 hours of the 7 of september. I try

  6. You don’t reaaaallllly need all that much artistic skill to do this, just have software that’ll allow you to lay a pattern. Yes, we’d welcome freehand art, pixel art, whatever, but we expect to get a LOT of people just taking an image or a pattern they like and using it to make a new background.

For example, I tossed these together over a couple hours one night a few weeks ago:

  7. Holy shit AI is like working with a greasy bag of dildos.

    • AAAAARGH WHY CAN’T I DELETE YOU FFFFUUUUUUUUUUU.

You can do raster if you keep it sharp enough. =P

      • I did – the BROOTAL LSDJ and Stripey ones are made in Photoshop. Hopefully 300DPI “vector” is sharp enough?
I’ll try to work out some more once I get access to my tablet, for the greater good.

  8. JazzSticker6 FTW

  9. I’m in.
    But i didn’t get it:
Complete redesign of the LSDJ Logo Sticker (including the Font) or just like keep the LSDJ Font and make a different background?

  10. Cool! Too bad I can’t draw for crap.

    • You could scribble on a photocopy with a box of crayons and I’d still be happy as hell to have a submission from you, Vince! Keep up the good work, musically and otherwise. ^_^
