Struggling to find this week’s Disassembly. May have to settle for either:
1. An Atari Flashback 2
2. Casio DH-100 (also for sale)
3. Crestron Touch Screen (non-working)
or
4. Someone send me something! View
I don’t often etch a board with top-side traces only, but this project has a great deal more room than many of my others. In any case, this is an awesome logic analyzer that will be built into a DMG shell. It uses the original power supply, battery compartment, power switch and several of the actual buttons.

Received my LCD in the mail today and….all of the pins are not as they were originally listed, the LEDs are active low instead of active high and I get to remake my entire schematic. Yay China.
This is still really awesome dude. I love seeing this stuff on here.
Just as I appreciate positive feedback.
Anyhow, I finally got around to printing the mirrored image and may etch the board this afternoon. I managed to redesign the library file in eaglePCB and rerouted the appropriate traces in one sitting. I may also have aced my job interview this morning.

Turns out this crappy Chinese variant ALSO runs on 3.3-5v and not 2.2-3.3v
basically I get to pull out my voltage drop diodes and bridge them. HOWEVER, my logic analyzer works.

As you can see, I designed the LCD upside down and only had three RCA jacks on hand. yay…..

I just redesgined the PCB to fit inside of the GB.
Obviously, you may connect the probes to anything, not just an IR receiver.
