Got this weird problem with my microphone I hope some one might know something about. Just got a cardioid condenser mic, using the standard windows “sound recorder” the audio is great, very clear and crisp. What do you guys know about the synthcart for the Atari 2600. I just acquired a 2600 today that I and attempting to restore and was wondering where to get the synthcart or something similar.

I have synthcart… it is fun to play with, but as a musical tool it is very limited.

You can also use a ltc1799 to clock down or up to ’tune’ it a little better.

This isant the first time Timbaland has pilfered someone else tune, I also read somewhere that the label he’s signed under was thinking about dropping him cause of all the legal mumbo jumbo he has floating around.

When I first heard about chiptunes I only knew about Anamanaguchi, so I went to their myspace page and was looking at the band flyers and seeing who they had played with and would listen to them, systematically working my way through them all. The point is: I listened a bunch of chiptune artists but I definitely remember this one as being a good tune.

sounds like you have it enabling playback so you can listen to what you record. that would explain the feedback loop and how its gone when you pop on headphones. i havent recorded much with FL but do you have any effects on your master channel?
what’s your set-up like? make sure your audio drivers in FL are set for your external audio interface. Could also be you are playing back the audio as you are recording it and some of the playback could be getting into the mic and causing that white noise and feedback, just triple check everything basic like that and if there’s still an issue…[Read more]
