Hi, I’m Occulture (also known as Culture on µcollective and Chipmusic•org.
Just thought I would introduce myself. It’s nice to get to know the community : D
I live in Paris, I’m friendly, and somewhat knowledgeable in LSDJ (though I have no real knowledge of music structure etc).
I recently made a track with a friend of mine combining LSDJ with Logic Pro. I think we’re going to continue making stuff together, but I will also be making my own stuff purely on LSDJ.
Here’s a link to my friend and I’s track. We’re called Läust. http://laust.bandcamp.com/
The track is a free download if anyone likes it :B
Where is this question?
If you’re talking about the old smart cards without a USB slot, then the internal eeprom must be programmed via parallel interface. To achieve that, you’ll need to either:
1. Buy an out-of-print BUNG Ent. programmer and sort through the miserable Win98 (only) software or
2. Build a programmer based on Reiner Zeigler’s schematic and software. But even then, he only wrote a software for Win and Linux so YOU’RE OUTTA LUCK!
I think you should contact kitsch or Nonfinite and ask if they will flash it for you. Each of them has a programmer AFAIK and are both really cool people. Not very economical, but may be your only option (aside from buying a real PC #WindowsFanBoy)
